Dr. Steve Simon
Dr. Steve Simon is the Director of Theoretical Physics Research at Alcatel-Lucent. He earned a B.S. degree from Brown in Physics & Mathematics in 1989 and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Harvard in 1995. Dr. Simon received an American Physical Society Apker Award in 1989. Following a two-year post-doc at MIT, Simon joined Bell Labs (currently Alcatel-Lucent). His research is in the area of condensed matter physics and communication, including subjects ranging from microwave propagation to high temperature superconductivity. He also oversees projects of general interest to communications and biophysics, including biophysics information theory.
