Dr. William Jaco
William “Bus” Jaco is Grace B. Kerr Professor of Mathematics at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Jaco is a distinguished researcher who is internationally recognized for his work on 3-manifolds, including the JSJ (Jaco- Shalen-Johannson) decomposition. He is a past Executive Director of the AMS. Dr. Jaco has given invited addresses all over the world, most recently at Columbia, Princeton, and in China and Australia.
